LGBT Helping Hands 10/22/09-GLBT National Help Center

The GLBT National Help Center provides free and confidential support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered (GLBT) people, and those with questions about sexual orientation and/or gender identity. We provide support through our two national, toll-free hotlines as well as through our Online Peer-Support Chat program, which allows private, one-on-one instant messaging (IM) with a trained peer-counselor, directly on our website. We provide factual information about GLBT issues, safer-sex info, local resources for cities and towns across the country and peer-counseling for people going through a difficult time. All of our volunteer peer-counselors are either gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered.
