Welcome to New Covenant Church of Atlanta. We are friends of Jesus who follow Him, seek to discover His plans and purposes, do those plans and purposes, and then build our whole culture as a people around Who He is, What He Says, and What He Does... We seek to build our lives, homes, churches, conversations, and everything that we are around Him. Many of us also happen to be lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender, and straight.
We are a worship center that celebrates in the Charismatic-Pentecostal tradition. We consider ourselves a "restorationist church" seeking to see people restored to God's dream and ideal for their lives (Acts 3:21)
We exist as a church to demonstrate God's Presence and Love, to bring Him the highest honor and Glory, to reach the lost with the precious Gospel of Jesus Christ, to declare the prophetic purpose of the GLBT community, to explore and demonstrate the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit on our community, and proclaim the LGBT community's place in the Kingdom of God, and to equip believers to become all God has called them to be
Our prayer, for you, as you are visiting this website, is that something of the Overwhelmingly Gracious Eternal Nature of our loving King will grip you and be imparted to you, and in so doing, He will gain more Glory and more Honor as He is lifted up. He is the Famous One, and we seek the expansion of His Honor and Glory in the earth through ALL PEOPLE!!! (Acts 2:17 / Isaiah 9:7)
