Believers Covenant Fellowship is a Christian Ministry and an Apostolic, Full Gospel, Charismatic Church. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for EVERYONE's sins on the Cross of Calvary, that God raised Him from the dead, and He is alive even now. He will soon be coming back to set up His Kingdom and reign on the Earth!
Ultimately, it is our mission to show the world that Jesus Christ really IS the Answer to all of our problems! His ways are best and He has provided a way back to a personal love relationship with our Creator, our heavenly Father, by cleansing us of our sins. In this relationship, the Holy Spirit begins to help us see and understand that the bible is like an instruction manual. It is full of wisdom meant for us to embrace. It is also a history book testifying to God's reality, God's supreme power and dominion, God's faithfulness, God's love, and even more! It is not just a history book of the past, it is also a prophetic book detailing and outlining the wonderful future that God has in store for those who will love Him and seek His ways. It is ALL good! ALL positive!
We desire to be bridge builders in the Christian community. We are a congregation that seeks to bridge the non-gay community with the gay and lesbian communities through our relationship with Christ. Our primary purpose is to minister to the spiritual needs of the gay and lesbian community in the metro Washington, DC, area by providing a safe, nurturing environment for praise and worship, Christian fellowship, and study of the practical application of Bible-based principles of how to live a spiritually fruitful and prosperous life through our covenant relationship with our Heavenly Father!
