President Obama made some of the moves this week the LGBT community has been waiting for since he took office. First, he signed the hate crimes legislation into law. Below is video from The Adovcate of his comments at the signing ceremony:
Then, on Friday he signed the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act and ended the ban on entry into the United States for people infected with HIV/AIDS. More here from CNN.
