John 14:27, NIV: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
This verse provides comforting words for those who believe. My prayer is that each of us would gain a better understanding of the peace Christ brings. It is a peace that sustains the hearts of those whom possess it. But, it also provides others a beacon of hope. For as others see the peace of God in you, the Holy Spirit can use that peace as evidence to draw others to a saving knowledge of our Lord.
