We're starting a page for readers to leave their prayer request on. We know that some of you are not plugged into an affirming church where you can join with others to prayer for your needs of those of loved ones and people you know, so we want to offer this resource for you to use 24-7.
Know that we will all be reviewing this regularly and praying for those needs listed in the comments. They can be as general or personal as you care to make them, just be respectful of others and remember that first and foremost this blog is a safe place for GLBT people.
Thank you for allowing us and other readers to pray for you. May God bless you and answer those petitions.

ReplyDeletePlease, please, please pray that my dear friend Shannon and my father, Mark, both keep their jobs.
ReplyDeleteJimBrenda: This a wonderful idea. As we've learned, while affirming couples, many feel betrayed by those who should support them most. It saddens us to hear their stories, the WWJD certainly comes to mind. Shalom, MariahByron
ReplyDeleteHi Jim and Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI would appreciate prayer for my CD project Shining Through. I go into the studio in Nebraska April 16th and am feeling a little stressed over trying to pull all this togehter long distance with the other musicians. My number one desire is that the CD bring breakthrough into the lives of people and that I will have the open doors to share the CD within our community..
Please pray for my Facebook friend Howie in Maine who just lost his job with Circuit City closing and has lost his car. He is lonely and not plugged into an affirming church, so join me in petitioning the Lord to help him find work and fellowship in a situation where he can be open and honest about himself.
ReplyDeletePlease pray for our dear friend Amanda, who was just told that she has a spot on her lung that is probably a malignancy.
ReplyDeletePlease pray for me. I lost the person I wanted to spend my life. She went back to a abusive relationship she had before me. She just left me with no explaination and I have a hurt that will not go away. Help me to move on and get past the pain.
ReplyDeleteWe want everyone to know that we pray over each request we receive. For anyone who is out there by themselves, we encourage you to check out list of affirming churches and find one that you can visit so you can have fellowship and direct prayer support. Either way, we're here for you with our virtual ministry and our real love and caring.
